#MustDo in NYC: May 2019

Spring is in the air and its got all of us New Yorkers requesting the patio seats. With the relief of warmer weather, we understand that you want to spend time outside before the sweltering heat and tourists arrive in June. Whether you want to drink beer, sample foods or watch a play – we’ve got something for everyone.

For this month’s #MustDo in NYC, a roundup of events to help you enjoy this beautiful weather.

Sample craft brews in Brooklyn

The 6th annual Five Boro Craft Beer Fest is back! Choose samples from 55 Local and out of state brewers serving over 100+ Craft Beers including never before tasted beer and some of your favorites. Local restaurants will also be serving up their best bites.

Eat for a good cause

Taste of the Lower East Side brings together 50 neighborhood restaurants to offer a variety of dishes accompanied by open bars and spinning DJs. The dollars raised at Taste of the Lower East Side support programs and services for more than 10,000 New Yorkers and their communities.

Thursday, May 9, 6-10 PM

A garden party…with wine!

Sample wine from a dozen local New York vintners while touring the spring arrivals at the New York Botanical Garden’s Spring Uncorked event. Breathe in the fresh air and new flower blooms and leave with a bottle of wine, win-win.

Saturday + Sunday, May 18-19, 12-4 PM

Get back to the classics

Sure, Central Park is packed with tourists but Shakespeare in the Park is basically a right of passage for New Yorkers, and it’s coming back this May. This summer, the theatre will be presenting Much Ado about Nothing and Coriolanus – find scheduling and ticket options on their website.

Running May 21-August 11, 2019

Rosaliné is a must try for those who crave fresh ingredients and savory flavors. The restaurant is an ode to Peruvian cuisine with a California twist – simple perfection. Set among hanging plants and slate color palates, it’s trendy – but in the most modest way. P.S. don’t miss out on the cocktails.

Roundtrip flights are starting as low as $460. Search through Google Flights.
